The chapter in World History that I enjoyed the most this year is was the Ancient Rome. This is the chapter I enjoyed the most because I liked learning about all the gods. I liked hearing the myths and how they started. Also, I enjoyed doing the PowerPoint on the gods and myths. Ancient Greek was the most fun of all the chapters for me.
In the Ancient Greek chapter I learned about Roman myths such as Romulus and Remus and how the founded Rome. Mount Olympus and the Olympic Game are things we learned about, too. I learned many things this year but another one of my favorites was the Greek gods and we also extended about learning of the Greek gods in Language arts. These are some of the exciting things we learned this year.
New skills that I have learned throughout the year are filling out a map. Also, I learned how to make a key and scale for a map. These new skills were fun to learn.
I can apply this knowledge to the real world by knowing how to read maps. Also, all the things we learned will help me throughout my school years. Also, if I want to travel I will know where I am going and have a little background knowledge about foreign countries. These are things that I will take into the real world.
